1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Prayer Collector, also presented as Prayer Power within the app ("the App"), handles information. The App is developed and published by Angelo H. Melgazo ("we," "us," or "our").
The App is designed for private, on-device use. We do not require an account, operate an app data server, place advertisements, use third-party analytics, or track you across apps and websites.
2. Information you create or select
The App lets you create or select content including:
- Prayer journal text, including confessions, gratitude, and petitions;
- Prayer status, dates, captions, and other organization details;
- Photos you deliberately select through Apple's system photo picker; and
- PDF files you choose to create from your prayer archive.
This content is stored locally with the App on your device. We do not receive or collect it through a developer-operated server.
3. Photo access
When you choose to attach a photo, the App uses Apple's system photo picker. The App receives the photo or photos you select for that action; it does not need to browse or upload your entire photo library. You decide whether to add or remove selected photos.
4. Sharing and PDF exports
The App can create a PDF and can present Apple's system share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you initiate the action and choose a destination. Once you send, save, or share content to another app, person, or service, its handling is governed by that recipient or service's privacy practices.
5. Data collected by the developer
We do not collect personal data, usage data, diagnostics, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, prayer content, or selected photos through the App. We do not sell personal data and do not use App Tracking Transparency because the App does not track users.
6. Support communications
If you email us for support, we receive the email address and information you include in your message. We use it only to respond, troubleshoot, maintain support records, and comply with legal obligations. Email is handled by the relevant email providers and is not collected through the App itself. Please avoid including sensitive prayer content unless necessary and voluntarily chosen.
7. Storage, backups, retention, and deletion
App content remains on your device until you delete it, remove the App, or erase the device. You can delete individual entries and photos using the App's controls. Deleting the App removes its local container from that device according to Apple's platform behavior.
Depending on your Apple settings, app data may be included in an iCloud or device backup. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple, not by us. Review your device's Apple ID and backup settings to manage them.
8. Security
Keeping content on-device limits its exposure to us. You are responsible for securing your device, passcode, Apple account, backups, and any copies you export or share. No storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Children's privacy
The App is a general-audience personal journal and is not directed to children under 13. Because we do not collect information through the App, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent information by support email may contact us to request deletion.
10. International users
The developer is based in the Philippines. If you contact us by email from another country, your support message may be processed in the Philippines and by the email service providers involved in delivering the message.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the App's features or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate method when required.
